Also - I saw Sinbad not that long ago and I thought it was a great deal better than I'd heard, with some really, really good character animation.
I assume you were responsible for some of it.

elliot!-only the smallest bit..my stuff ended up on the cutting room floor after jeffrey went mad and slashed 13 mins from the whole film..i have the linetests in qtime and will post as soon as i get 5 mins..
i was responsible for the manolians-
at the delegates party..where sinbad first re-meets marina-proteus was introduced by dymas to 3 hulking viking brutes..other delegates from manolia..
proteus sticks his hand out for a handshake..and the huge brutes are mortally offended..war will commence...
(after i animated it the brutes took offence like kenneth williams!-camp as christmas..-they loved it though..)
it was to show proteus as a dufus and marina as the cosmopolitan girl about town..
marina-ever the diplomat..responds with the customary greeting of -"washagana..."and jiggles her elbow..
the manolians respond and get flirty..
all peace is restored and a diplomatic faux pas is diverted..
anyhoo..12 people s work for 12 weeks went south..
and in the final cut -all we are left with is "dymas talking about the manolians doing something with their knees..
which doesnt make sense as the earlier corresponding seq was cut -(reason why he interrupts them on the balcony etc)..go figure,,
but-
i met and worked with many great folks..true talents..
to be honest- it is hard to think that may be the last 2d feature i may work on..i really hope not..but you can't stop progress i guess..new tools etc...give em what they want..etc
i love the medium..one day i would love to be on a 2d feature again.
where's those nurbs gone in that hypergraph..?..
