old dogs.
daft dogs for uli's studio..these were early concepts for the revamping of Chip-(the cookie crisp dog)-in a more wolfy..less doggy style..as they wanted to market the cereal in Asia, where you can have a talking wolf selling cereal to kids..but not a dog..because that might be following on as the main course -apparently..(agency comment-not mine!)
uli-did you ever get to see the aardman jobs-i watch a lot of kids channels(!)..and have never seen it-did they pull it off or did they just pull it?
pull my finger!

I think the client was not very happy with Aardman's version. Serves them right for taking it away from the people who invented and mastered it. I think it was one young chick at the agency who was so keen to work with an Oscar winning studio. What she did not comprehend is that Aardman are terrific at doing claymation. The art of hand-drawn, masterful animation belongs to us!!!
You know what I mean.
The worst thing is that articles appeared in trade mags where Aardman was claiming to have invented the graphic 3D background look that we actually invented. That hurt. But hey, that's the business.
By the way, I do not want to draw a mouse in a sleeping bag.
yeah you do..!..you know you want to reeeaaalllllyyy..
Try getting out of the sleeping bag, I find I can draw a lot easier at a desk! F-nar F-nar!!!
