cereal box repros

i have collected vintage cereal boxes for a while-and decided to re-illustrate-recreate these impossible to find classics for my own collection-
i was in cereal graphics-old logo-dry brush-geek heaven doing these..fun while it lasted.-i would love to see designs like these on boxes now-let me know what you think of them.

I think that the Adobe tools we have at our disposal these days make it all to easy for untalented people to do half arsed recreations of this style.
You however have created something remarkably authentic and I both admire and respect you for it.
I also think you're really good looking.
Gosh, yes.

Holy mackarel. These are extremely cool. (A tad small to appreciate the details, though) Did you do all the stuff on the back too?

You've see the stuff over at dabeehive

I imagine..(see him in your links) you guys should get together! There's a whole New-Old toyline to be produced from these.

They are great.
Today, they do too much brightness and shadow layers and crap.
Much more graphic as those are much atractive to me. If I see this ones in Tesco, I'll buy it with out even ask what is inside.
But may be that is because I'm a wirdeou.( However you spell it)

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh . . .soothing . . . . I've wanted to see your cereal boxes for years. They're fantastic man, totally with you on the box tip, designs like these would POP out on the shelves these days from all the bland crap that's used now. Did you see the TONY pitch Craig Kellman made on Nate Pacheco's blog?

Cool work !! I remembera cereal called Good - O's when I was a kid in the early 70's,about the same time that Golden Nuggets were out in the UK.

Great stuff. There was a huge discussion on the old Shane Glines discussion board one about the decline of good design. You just reminded me of just how far we've fallen.
I'm truly awed by this stuff. Good work!!!
