I think that the Adobe tools we have at our disposal these days make it all to easy for untalented people to do half arsed recreations of this style.
You however have created something remarkably authentic and I both admire and respect you for it.
I also think you're really good looking.
Gosh, yes.
dont forget my finely turned ankles and eyelashes to die for...
on a side note-frankie howerd the comedian -in his passport-where it said 'colour of hair'..wrote
'..wind blown corn..'
Holy mackarel. These are extremely cool. (A tad small to appreciate the details, though) Did you do all the stuff on the back too?
You've see the stuff over at dabeehive

I imagine..(see him in your links) you guys should get together! There's a whole New-Old toyline to be produced from these.
These are awesome Mr.Dunn. The frosted flakes take the cake for me but they're all really great. Wonderful work as always!
In all geekyness,,it's very lovely ! Would be nice to see them bigger though.
NICE!! Man I love that art style.
They are great.
Today, they do too much brightness and shadow layers and crap.
Much more graphic as those are much atractive to me. If I see this ones in Tesco, I'll buy it with out even ask what is inside.
But may be that is because I'm a wirdeou.( However you spell it)
But those are original old dtuff or is yours?
hey alberto mann-
nope -i re did the illustrations on the top three-the spoonmen box i had a lot of pshop tweaking to do-so i cant take any credit for that-
glad you like them-we have two new books on the go here-so i hope to post some things from those soon-
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh . . .soothing . . . . I've wanted to see your cereal boxes for years. They're fantastic man, totally with you on the box tip, designs like these would POP out on the shelves these days from all the bland crap that's used now. Did you see the TONY pitch Craig Kellman made on Nate Pacheco's blog?
Cool work !! I remembera cereal called Good - O's when I was a kid in the early 70's,about the same time that Golden Nuggets were out in the UK.
you're a demi god!!! i'm not worthy!!!
You punk! These are brilliant, thanks for doing them and letting us see.
Great stuff. There was a huge discussion on the old Shane Glines discussion board one about the decline of good design. You just reminded me of just how far we've fallen.
I'm truly awed by this stuff. Good work!!!
WOW! Great recreations. I'd love to see them bigger. Good work!
Excellent, as usual. Love, love, love the Frosted Flakes ones.
